I was born, raised, and remain a native Oklahoman. Growing up in Oklahoma, it's hard to not be exposed to the western lifestyle...at least in part. Then by marrying a real life cowboy, I only compounded my love and interest of this lifestyle and the people that live it everyday. My husband has worked on ranches from Nebraska to Texas, and he rode bulls for about 17 years in rodeos across the U.S. and parts of Europe. He is currently a full-time farrier, and he always helps out friends when they need an extra hand rounding cattle at the ranch. My husband is also a widely publicized cowboy singer, musician, and poet. In my photographic journeys, I have captured everything from the birth and death of horses and the rounding-up, pushing, and shipping of cattle to ranch rodeos and cowboy gatherings.
I received Professional Photography training from the New York Institute of Photography. I am also the owner of my own photography business, ABC Photography, which specializes in weddings, corporate, and portrait work. My photography has been published in textbooks, magazines, CD covers, reading books, and several other mediums. I have had the good fortune to photograph some well-known Oklahomans such as Governor Brad Henry, attorney Stephen Jones, former OU head-coach Barry Switzer, and Attorney General Drew Edmondson. I have also had the pleasure of photographing some Oklahomans who are known as just good ole' boys.
So regardless of how high-profile or low-key your project is, you can rest assured that I am more than capable to handle your photography needs. I have been a part the cowboy life long enough to know how to truly capture its essence in photos.
